Le paysage typique jurassien à peine modifié pour ajouter l’appel majestueux de l’espace. La personne promenant le chien est-elle consciente de l’appel des étoiles ?

La présence de la fusée est ignorée de la marcheuse. Est-elle blasée ? Ne l’entend-elle pas ? Peut-être est-ce à une époque ou la présence d’un tel engin spatial est monnaie courante ?

Est-ce sur terre ou sur une exoplanète ? Le monde de l’astrophysique est en ébullition en octobre 1995! Deux astrophysiciens de l’Université de Genève, Michel Mayor et Didier Queloz, annoncent avoir découvert la première exoplanète, soit la première planète en orbite autour d’une étoile autre que le Soleil. Ils l’appellent 51 Pegasi b. Les deux astrophysiciens font décoller une science alors considérée comme marginale, celle de la quête des exoplanètes.

Peu importe le lieu, l’univers est vaste, mais l’appel de l’espace se retrouve partout.

The typical Jura landscape barely modified to add the majestic call of space. Is the person walking the dog aware of the call of the stars?

The rocket’s presence is ignored by the walker. Is she blasé? Does she not hear it? Perhaps it is at a time when the presence of such a spacecraft is commonplace?

Is it on earth or on an exoplanet? The world of astrophysics is in turmoil in October 1995! Two astrophysicists from the University of Geneva, Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz, announced that they had discovered the first exoplanet, the first planet orbiting a star other than the Sun. They call it 51 Pegasi b. The two astrophysicists launched a science then considered marginal, that of the search for exoplanets.

No matter the place, the universe is vast, but the call of space is found everywhere.
