Troisième peinture de petit format et troisième dans l’ordre global de réalisation. Technique mixte peintre acrylique et petit feutre pigmentaire. Cette piste sera abandonnée pour la série des toiles suivantes.

L’anachronisme visuel provient de la juxtaposition du cosmonaute actuel et de la fusée « classique de la série ». Le ciel est toujours à son avantage, rempli d’étoiles scintillantes.

Moins de trois mois après celle du soviétique Alexeï Leonov, l’Américain Ed White effectuait le 3 juin 1965 une « marche » dans l’espace, la seconde de l’histoire de l’astronautique, la première américaine. En 2023 on compte plus de 400 marches dans l’espace ou sorties extravéhiculaires.

Tracy Dyson, qui a trois sorties dans l’Espace à son actif explique au site NPR en 2020 :  « Vous voyez cette planète sous vos pieds vous déplaçant à 28 000 km/h, et vous et l’autre personne dans ces énormes combinaisons êtes les deux seuls dans le vide de l’espace ; on s’accroche un peu plus que d’habitude ».

Third painting of small format and third in the global order of realization. Mixed technique acrylic painter and small pigmentary felt pen. This track will be abandoned for the following series of paintings.

The visual anachronism comes from the juxtaposition of the current cosmonaut and the « classic » rocket of the series. The sky is always to his advantage, filled with twinkling stars.

Less than three months after that of the Soviet Alexei Leonov, the American Ed White carried out on June 3, 1965 a « walk » in space, the second of the history of astronautics, the first American. In 2023, there were more than 400 spacewalks or extravehicular exits.

Tracy Dyson, who has three spacewalks to her credit, tells NPR in 2020: « You see this planet under your feet moving at 28,000 mph, and you and the other person in these huge suits are the only two in the vacuum of space; we’re holding on a little tighter than usual.
